We use breathing exercises, mindfulness meditation & guided meditation, visualisations using colour and nature and music – to experience different ways of relaxing and letting go of tension. We use simple meditation and concentration exercises to focus and quieten the mind and to connect with your own ‘inner knowing’. We experience stillness, space and the peace of silence in deep relaxation.

Each month for half-an-hour Sarah’s online Relaxation and Meditation class lets me stop my busy-ness, slow down and become more peaceful inside. What a great feeling that is! Whether by introducing us to different ways of breathing, visualisation or other techniques, Sarah ensures that each session is helpful, enjoyable and calming, sometimes so calming that I find myself almost nodding off at the end! With supportive thoughts or ideas to take away and reflect on if I wish, Sarah’s class provides a gentle pick-me-up each month which I always look forward to and would certainly recommend.M. One to One Relaxation and Meditation
One to One Sessions are available if you would like the support and encouragement to get started or at a particularly difficult time.
Having had a cancer diagnosis, I thought that yoga could help to provide me with a stable support for both mind and body in preparing for treatment. I hadn’t done any yoga before and was reluctant to sign up to a class, feeling rather self-conscious and nervous, so I searched for an experienced practitioner who offered one-to-one classes. I was so pleased to find Sarah, who immediately put me at ease with her calm, gentle and relaxing manner. She is so empathic and caring, ensuring the practice was within my capabilities. The relaxation and meditation sessions were particularly helpful, so much so that I felt emotionally nourished and in a better frame of mind to face my cancer treatment. The visualisation and breathing techniques Sarah practises can transport one to another plane of consciousness. It was a difficult time in my life for several reasons and Sarah’s one-to-one sessions really helped to support and guide me; I often found them quite moving. Since then, with Sarah’s encouragement, I was persuaded to join one of her classes and I continue to enjoy those, more than eight years after starting those one-to-one sessions.
